Your first steps
How it works From the first call to an agreed plan
Most men reach us either after a raised PSA result or for a second opinion on a diagnosis already made. Either way the first step is the same, and you do not need to have everything in place before you call.

Bring what you have
You do not usually need a GP referral for a private consultation. If you have recent PSA results or imaging, bringing them means we can give you the most useful advice at the first appointment.
Your first consultation
A 30-minute appointment with Professor Eden to go through your results and options, at either consulting site. An initial consultation is £290.
Any tests you need
Where investigations have not been done, these may include a PSA blood test, the Stockholm-3 test, a prostate MRI and, if required, a targeted biopsy, arranged with rapid turnaround.
A plan, reviewed by a team
Your imaging and proposed plan go to a multidisciplinary meeting before anything is agreed, so the recommendation is not one surgeon's view alone.
